AAMB v CCMB last night

Well done on the result lads, was a good laugh and the effort that Jayne went to was apprieciated by all. Was good to put a few faces to some names from both boards.

It wasnt a good start when we turned up with all of 3 players I think over 21 out of a squad of around 20 but the younger lads did their best and Im sure that they will all improve the more they play together against bigger guys. The game was played in a good spirit I thought by all even though the surface didnt seem to 'game friendly', no excuse though as both teams played on the same surface.

Hope the guy that got put up in the air soon into the game is alright and it was nice to see that Horsey is not bitter any more about balls crossing the line or not!

Aching like hell from the match, me and running have never got on, wouldnt of minded a little rub down from Claire afterwards...

Anyway, cheers for the match and looking forward to the next one, hopefully we can get a few more old heads in and get a decent mix of youth and experience, add that to a bit more organisation on our part and it should be a more entertaining game next time.

Mozzer and his son made the difference for us and our back pairing were immense. It was all a good laugh though and everyone was really friendly.

I'm still chuckling to myself about some moments like Ben's random verbal abuse from the goalmouth, Thomas Fish's miss and m.Davies's ludicrous long range effort. Also, Dobbin's quick free kick that smashed Jon in the head. It was goal bound!

Ah alright mate, yeh just read about that! I was on about the one about 5 minutes in, think the guy had longish hair, both of us went in for a 50/50 and he took a hit on the shin, Im guessing he is fine though!
