Indeed, and where exactly in that did it say no meeting would take place?

It says the only meetings are bieng brokered by the clubs solicitors regarding the Langstone debt.

No I don't know about you, but that makes out there is no meeting planned between Sam and Tg, yet TG's open letter has stated he will be meeting Sam but with his solicitor present, which one is right, YOU DECIDE.

Maybe if you understood that being brokered by means arranged by and not attended by then it will help your understanding of the situation?

Yes, but if the only meetings are still being brokered by the clubs solicitors, how do we then establish that PR has been asked for and approved by both parties to attend, obviously there is a meeting planned, rather than being brokered.

This is from TG's open letter, direct from the official website:

With regards to the media speculation regarding Sam Hammam, again as stated yesterday the only contact we have had is through the Clubs solicitors and is in regards to addressing the Langston agreement. I would stress that the comments are unhelpful, misfounded, inaccurate and self serving.

As of yet no meeting has been set up and I have had no direct dialogue with Mr Hammam. If there is to be a meeting, I will be accompanied by the Club's solicitor and it will be to discuss a final settlement and timing of the whole Langston issue.

What I'm trying to say (badly) is the club would appear to be saying the clubs solicitors are looking to broker/arrange a meeting.
Yet from what I have been told it is far in advance of brokering/arranging and the mmeting as been arranged and the parties who will be present have all been ratified and agreed upon.

It would appaer the two major players are keen to get together whilst the club are making out its being brokered and its only to discuss the ongoing Langstone debt as if there is no urgency to the matter.

Unfortunately as the club appaers to hurtle towards the start of the season with very littel direction, personally I think it is a meeting of extreme urgency if a satisfactory outcome can be achieved.

I think that may have it made it more confusing rather than clearer.lol

But that doesn't explain how some people are saying that the club denied a meeting was going to take place when the club actually stated one was being arranged.
