THE NEW SEASON STARTS HERE WITH THE FIRST PRE SEASON GAME AT BATH.

It is time that we get behind the team as they shake off the cobwebs and start to get themselves into a shape for the season, the good news is it is mainly a first team that will be going to Bath in Thursday and then the 19 man squad fly out to Portugal on tour on Friday evening, where one game has already been confirmed and a second will hopefully be confirmed shortly then I will be able to tell you who these are.

Things are not perfect off the pitch but this is what it is all about for us the fans and the players, it is about the football. Lets show this team over the next 10 months why we are the greatest fans in this Country and why they should be proud to wear the shirt.

We got a team to support, a club to be proud of and a legion of fans with passion that most clubs crave for.

They couldnt force them to Defer their Bonus and Match appearance money, They have Refused to accept it.

If the players cared for the future of the club then perhaps they should give up 2 weeks wages for now, that would save the club £600,000 approx and therefore at least the players would have done a bit to help out too. Us fans dug in and came up with the cash just before christmas and done our bit for the club when they needed it most, so now its time for the players to help out too.

They could individually look at it as having a 2 week wages fine which does happen within clubs for various reasons. Surely they would not miss the money that much as a one off, i know its not up to them to bail us out but they could do their bit to help out and at least then if things still go tits up they can still say they tried to help. How times have changed players of today just want more and more and are becoming more and more greedy.
