Why would they need to strike a deal when they could go to a tribunal and get him for possibly less than the £3m being branded about?

City wanted about £3mil and tribunal would have made them pay more I think due to the fact they offered £6mil for him last season , plus all football clubs are skint so it depends on how much upfront cash Stoke were prepared to give . I also personally dont think that CCFC can match the £25k per week salary that both Celtic and Stoke offered ??

Seems to me they weren't able to compete with the fact Celtic didnt have to pay a fee -thats all.
