I will NEVER worry about whether DJ stays or goes. What we SHOULD be concerned about is WHO replaces him as we have no cash and managers will see the situation we are in and may turn away.

The way I look at it is if he is going to go now would be a good time for him as he has children and would he want to uproot them half way through a school term?

In view of his wages, we just can't afford him. In view of the FA cup run, last years attempts with a squad that was not strengthened at the vital time, the longest stretch at this level since I've been watching the City, thanks Dave.
He was of course helped by being able to pay STUPID WAGES that the club couldn't afford to the players and the question has to be asked, should he take any responsibility for that?

A manager wants to strengthen his hand and it has obviously helped him put a team capable of surviving the Championship and even going close to escaping it at the positive end, so why wouldn't he accept the situation. Thing is though, the title is MANAGER, he must've been aware of what his and the players wages were doing to this club, did he not have some responsibility to manage that, even if he is just a glorified coach?
