Some possible targets for new manager

Tue Dec 29, 2009 3:42 pm

1. Sean O'Driscoll. Worked wonders at Bournemouth with poor budget. Now doing good job with Doncaster Rovers on one of the smallest budgets in championship. Doncaster play superb football.
2. Chris Wilder. Did a good job with Halifax Town and turned Oxford into Promotion favourites.
3. Mark Robins. Good job at Rotherham. Turned Barnsley into good team-again on low budget.
4. Darren Ferguson-2 consecutive promotions with Posh before budget arguments meant he couldnt improve them further.
5. Keith Hill-turned Rochdale from poor team into a cracking little side playing great football.

All 5 of these would be far better tactically than Jones (Bartley my dog is more tactically astute than DJ) plus they would have knowledge of lower leagues to bring in cheap hungry players as opposed to overpaid tarts.

Other potential managers include Trollope of Rovers, Tisdale at Exeter or someone unproven like Kav or Legg with an experienced no 2.

I wouldnt say no to Fergie the 2nd. His links with his old man would be great for the club plus i'm sure he'd settle for 250k a year saving our skint club 550k.

I will continue to support DJ but without sticking a preverbial knife in his back would welcome darren ferguson with open arms, other than that I think Paul Ince would motivate the teambut doubt that PR has the balls or is so much in cahoots with DJ with regard to the financial state of the club then we will only change manager once we have changed chairman
