Well we could there is no law against it.

This is another story about them thats going to be big news and going ot cause even more demonstrations. Belgium and France have banned the wearing of clothing like that. Its not banned because of religious views but for security purposes. Besides and against what alot of the West think the wearing of the viel is not that popular in the most of extreme muslim countries. It is only the old guard that is forcing their women to wear it. Alot of muslim countries dont force their women to wear the veil and with some countries now banning it I can see the garment disappearing within the next generation.

Quite funny this really

What a bunch of dickheads

They only ever read and believe the bits they want to out of the Koran
(just like Christians really - but centuries more backward)

Allah and the Prophet instruct all Muslims to strive to move to a Muslim land

f*cking stupid stone age knobheads conveniently forgot to read that bit!!

Try walking in to a bank with a balaclava on, Or in to a airport and on a plane, See what happens

Maybe there is no law against it but you will be arrested without doubt

Muslim women should not be allowed to cover their faces like that it is a massive security risk, if they want to wear that type of clobber they should f**k off to a country that makes them do it, Ban the burka now i say

Excellent point Ninian Park fucked my Wife, long name that, I'll refer to you as NPW for speed, we don't want Annis saying good morning to message board members, too much ammo for the "other lot".

If one were to walk into a bank with one's motor cycling helmet on one would be surrounded by armed rozzers in quite short order, yet a man/woman/alien/one of those David Icke Reptilian chappies (where is sludge, on holiday?) waddles in disguised as a post box nothing said

I did try to explain this fairly simple fact to the lefty sheep many years ago that there is nothing in the Koran (sp I know) that even mentions such attire. The reasoning behind the burka is a purely macho one, your average muslim be he/she religious or not generally believes that the wearing of such clobber is actually against the will of allah! I have been reliable informed by people that know these sort of things, a mullah (archbishop type person) that the burka stems from pure jealousy which is totally against the teachings of the prophet. If anyones interested look up a chap called Kemal Ataturk, known as the founding father of Turkey, very right wing naturally, a devout muslim but recognised the future problems that left wing islamic fundamentalism could cause so wrote the Turkish Constitution so that the Army (non secular) have to step in prevent said left wing islamic fundamentalism taking over.

As for Iran....one of my good friends has to leg it over there as has family's small plot of land will be confiscated if crops are not grown on said land within a few months otherwise it will be confiscated (stolen) by the state. He's going to plant pomegranates (I had to look that up :D ) and become a juice magnet! I thought he'd be better off planting herbs but thats another story.

Shit, its after midnight......

Unfortunately, a side effect of being at war in Afghanistan is that rather than eliminating radical Islam, it is actually creating more radicals throughout the world. We have probably done more to radicalise Muslims than bin laden could ever have hoped to do himself.

As you quite rightly say, there was no support from within the Islamic community, it was totally unrepresentative.

Quite ironic though that the BNP are outraged by this. This is the same BNP that constantly bangs on about freedom of speech and the right to be able to express your views, even if those views are offensive to large sections of the population and even if half of what you are saying is based on lies. Now all of a sudden, people who they disagree with are not allowed that same freedom. They need to make their minds up - one minute it is one rule for all, abide by them or f**k off, now they are saying they are allowed free speech but Muslims are not.

And what exactly has got them wound up? A pitifully small bunch of people protesting in the street.

In the film he asks "what about our rights and what about our heritage?" - well exactly, what about our heritage of free speech? our heritage of freedom to worship? Those on the demo were not looking to take away our rights or heritage, they were simply protesting about anti-Islamic laws being brought in.

The BNP seem outraged at people praying in the street. Big deal. Seems harmless enough to me.

Granted some of the stuff they were shouting was a bit over the top, but no more over the top than what goes on at BNP/EDL demos - in fact, considerably less offensive than what the EDL were shouting at the same location just a few weeks ago. Perhaps they could use the same argument - they are mostly moderate but a few nutters tag on to them?

"let me tell you what the lion sounds like when it roars ... AAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!!!" --- ooohh.. scary! Are the BNP really scared of this nonsense? I have heard worse threats being chanted down the city. Was this demo really a bigger threat to society than - for instance - a footy firm on the rampage?

They have had enough of the Killing in Iraq and Afghanistan. So have I !!! They complained about naked women being used to sell chocolate bars - sound fair enough to me - not exactly a 'scene that should not be allowed on British streets', as the BNP guy put it. The BNP find it offensive - well most people think the BNP are offensive, so welcome to our world.

As for the comment, "should any member of the British public stand there are shout like they are shouting we would be arrested on the spot" - you need to get out more son and check out the evangelical nutters that stand in the streets of Cardiff reading from the old testament telling us we are all going to hell, week in, week out, without ever getting nicked.

Freedom of speech my arse. Bloody Hypocrites.

(* Oh, and the advert for a Muslim dating agency that google adds have added to the page - )

The BNP do very little but spout hatred, it is their Raison d'être.

Why is you think that the people shouting on the streets on saturday are more dangerous than football hooligans?

As well as chanting hateful songs, football hooligans regularly follow through with random violence against strangers. There is nothing amusing about this.

With the exception of the 7/7 boomings (the culprits of which are either dead or in jail) we have not had anyone blown up by Islamic radicals. Granted there must be some out there that would like to do it, but how come we are comfortable that the "you're all going to die" Brigade down the city are harmless (even though they regularly are not) but the Muslims out on Saturday must all be evil suicide bombers (even though they very very rarely are)?

What about the Lockerbie bombing?

Or the Brits that got caught up in the twin towers?

Madrid bombings? Bali bombings? Brits died in both. list the can go on and on

And the very people you are saying are harmless are praising the culprits and wishing it on us, Maybe if our internal security wasn't as good as it is there would be a lot more terrorist attacks. Look how many of these extreme Muslims have been caught plotting attacks against the British public in the last decade or so.

Were any of the people on the streets of Cardiff involved in these bombing then? If so, you must share what you know with special branch and lets get them locked up. If not, what on earth are you talking about?

I am not sticking up for them, i think they are a little bit mad, but they have as much right to lick windows as the BNP do.

I do not want to live in a society where you do not have the right to free speech or the right to worship whoever or what ever you want to. I do not want to live in a society where you are judged by the colour of your skin or the clothes you wear.

If they had committed any crime they would have been arrested. But they did not, so they were not.

Before you say 'this country is mad and it should be against the law to shout "you're all going to die" ' - have a think what goes on at city matches week in week out.

At least on Saturday they did not follow it up by kicking the shit out of people for supporting a different religion to them.

If people genuinely preach hate and encourage people to murder, fine, lock em up and throw away the key. No problem with that. The police cleary did not think that was what was going on though. - and we know how 'trigger happy' they can be when it comes to nicking people.

Re: Radical Islam

Bullshit they were committing a crime of Racial hatred !! If the BNP said anything like that they would of been arrested on the spot. Was one BNP arrested for saying that Islam was a wicked faith ? He didn't threaten to kill anyone did he. The police don't operate a level playing field that's for sure. Those there were extremists with extremist views. They don't belong here that's for sure.
