Went to playa blanca few years ago niceholiday
The only trouble I found was the hotel pool it was like swimming In the antartic I was half expecting my dingy to be sunk by a iceberg and I'm not talking about the lettuce either

Very windy.
Didn't have a great holiday when i went back in 06, purely down to the location, it was in the middle of no-where and i got sunburnt (which is quite rare for me)the first day, so that fecked me for the holiday.
I found Gran Canaria a brilliant holiday and it isn't windy.

Been there 3 times, first visit was teguise nice place with plenty of bars and restaurants, only problem when we were there was that nobody was using them, there were nobody going out at night time but that was years ago so i,m sure it,s changed by now. The two other visits were to del carman, the island is very windy but apart from that a lovely island which i,m sure you,ll enjoy!!!
