Just signed for Barnet, apparently, who won the race for his signature from Gillingham.
His signing seemed a funny one. How can someone who was offered a professional contract by Everton a couple of years back and then moved to a club like ours, fall so far down the leagues in such a quick time?

He was another "one for the future" player that DJ brought in, & failed to cut the mustard. All the very best Darren.

He kicked around in the reserves at City, and had loan spells at Hereford and Gillingham, but as you say from almost pro at Everton to Barnet in just 3 seasons for such a young player seems odd.
Did he have injury problems?? Anyway, good luck to him.

He certainly suffered glandular fever at one stage.
