Roadworks around the castle

Are the roads still mayhem round the castle? I have to go to Dinas Powys from Ponty after work and I was thinking of taking the A470 and then through town. Is that still going to be problematic?

I lived in Dinas til I was 12, still consider myself to be a bit of a Dinas kid. My auntie is 80 today so i'm off round hers to celebrate
