First Job Marc? you temping, thought most people got paid monthly these days unless on a temporary contract.

No Eddie, I've always been paid weekly. This monthly thing is a load of bollocks

Prefer monthly due to direct debits etc.It is all i have ever known since i started work in 1991.

i hate it too!! when some months got 5 weeks in an some got 4 weeks in. how do we get paid the same each month?

I've never been paid monthly (only done part-time work where got paid weekly), but I think its done on an annual salary thats divided by 12 (for the number of months).

I prefer getting paid monthly.
Change all your direct debits to the day after you get paid. You don't need to worry about paying anything then.

ive been paid monthly for 20 years, i would not be able to handle being paid weekly.

I get paid 4 weekly, which is great in the months where you get paid twice!

I get paid monthly and i like it. Helps me manage my money. I also have one of those o2 money cards that helps me budget my money so I don't spend all my pay by the middle of the month.
There's nothing more satisfying than looking at your bank account and thinking "hmm, half my wages have gone, i'll have to be careful what I spend....o wait, its the 25th today! payday soon!"
