Good shout Fish. Up until a few years ago, I wouldn't go near a dog, unless it was a family members dog. You can never 100% trust a dog. They all have the ability to turn under certain circumstances.
I'm comfortable around dogs now and i love them but I hated them as a kid.
Much more of a cat person me

Plus if a cat has a bitch fit, you know they're easy to fight off and they won't rip your face off. As I'm typing this, my cat is sat at the end of my bed giving me evils. I think she knows I'm talking about her.....now I'm in trouble

FISH are you scared of dogs because of the incident when you were delivering stuff for Chegs?
I've always had dogs and always trust dogs. HOWEVER, there are certain breeds I'll avoid (such as pitbull's, staffs).
As long as the dogs owner has sense when training them and does it right, there won't be a problem. There are a lot of owners that don't know what they're doing, however, and it can lead to problems down the line.

Not scared but massive dislike for is Rats!
God I hate them with a passion.....
Worst experience was carrying out a covert OP, laying in a ditch in hong Kong watching illegal Immigrants coming over the border wait for them to breach the perimeter. Whilst laying in the ditch I had about 15-20 rats running around and over my legs... not a nice experience.

I love dogs and cats. I have a way with animals shall we say. My girlfriend's cat doesn't go near anyone except me. They call her the evil one... maybe we have a bond!

Ahem. Exactly what part of your body is that Martyn?
My cat only attacks me if I wind her up. As for dogs, I do like standard poodles and king charles spaniels. Labrador pups are extremely cute.

I'm the same, family or friend's dogs I'm ok. But even walking down the road, if I pass a dogwalker with the dog on a leash, I get a little anxious and I won't even go in a park if I see a dog off the leash. If one is walking down the road with no owner, I will cross the road to avoid it. I love my brother's dog though, but that's pretty much it. I think it goes back to my younger days when I was a kid and I got bitten, been shit scared ever since

I was attacked by a dog in a park in Southampton last year but as it came or me I kicked it in the head out of instinct and defence. It was literally running mew mouth drooling and barking violently. The dog, medium sized seemed dazed and its owners had cheek to start shouting at me. I of course told them to f**k off and have their dog put down and continued on my jog.
