The FA are considering scrapping Cup replays as an alternative to winter breaks because they are worried that the England team performances are suffering due to the star players playing too many games !

When the Premier Leage was created, one of its chief aims was to improve the quality of the English national team. So far, its member clubs and the PL's greed has prevented that happening. Why should a competition that is separate from that suffer by making changes to compensate for another organisation's and member's greed?
KEEP THE REPLAYS

I totally agree. We've had some quality replay experiences. Arsenal away, the Middlesbrough tie back in the day. Keep them. They're all part of the romance.

Maybe they should just now accept that they are nowhere near as good as they think they are. 4 games in the WC showed that big time. I chuckled when the press said this week that Capello had unearth some new talent for the 2014 finals - on the back of this showing, they should be worrying about qualifying never mind anything else.
Keep the replays, it's the cup tradition as pointed out.
