We were 1-4down at ht and in that game the conditionsfavoured the teamsattacking the canton stand. Yesterday there were no such conditions.

I was there and we were loosing 4-1 at half -time and we came back and Won 5-4, about 2,500 there, I then went to Plymouth in the 2nd leg of the League Cup in the night, about 120 of us there and we Won 1 nil, 6-4 in the end GREAT GREAT DAYS :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

I am proud to say I was there too, stood on the Bob Bank and weighing up whether to leave and walk home at half time. Thank god I stayed, all these years later I am still amazed we actually came back - It is Cardiff City after all, we are noramally on the wrong end of these results.....

As you say Annis, great days and great memories.

You said it mate. It's a different world these days. Funnily enough, my dad actually got taught to drive by and worked with the legend that was Harry Parsons before he joined the city.

As a result of their friendship, I was lucky enough to get CCFC shirts, boots, Mitre footballs and a comp for every game from the gentleman and comedian that was 'H'

Respect,
Peter

You are right he really was Mr Cardiff CIty. Being lucky enough to know former players such as Jason Perry, Damon Searle and my big mate Jon Morgan as well as having had the opportunity to banter with top bloke Roger Gibbins when we go in the Premier club, I can honestly say, those lads all LOVE Cardiff City FC and did it for the love of playing and our club. Not sure how many of the existing squad I'll see at CCS in ten or twenty years time though unfortunately.....

Guess what though, we'll still be there, and probablty still decked out in Fila, Armani, Tacchini, Stone Island and Borg Elites/Trimm Trabs/Gazelles etc remembering tragic Freight Rover midweek away defeats to Torquay from '83/84 with fond(!!) memories

My club, my passion.... :ayatollah:

Yeah, two great games & I was there for both.

In the away game we could easily have lost by 10, they were all over us. They had a jack centre forward (can't remember his name) and another useless blond guy up front who missed a hatfull of chances. Then Gilo scores with a cross. Happy days.

Oh, and my mate got a speeding ticket on the way down (and a month ban) for an average speed of 107mph in his XR4

That game was my Grandads last ever game before he passed away. Not a bad way to go out for 1 of the original Port Talbot Bluebirds. RIP Grandad. He died days before Howarth scored thewinner at the wretch.
