I cant see us getting him to be honest, with the embargo and financial mess we are in, if we are gonna sign anyone its gonna be a youngster on loan or someone from Scottish league or lower leagues. My opinion anyway

How often did he play in CM under Jones? I can think of twice and we lost both games.
He played a few times behind the striker (leeds away) and did ok but hardly ever in CM
Otherwise he ALWAYS played wide and I do not rate him higher than Burke, Witts or Rossco.

IMO he didnt have the legs for CM then and certainly doesnt now, well not in a 4-4-2 anyway.

Hes hardly kicked a ball in 3 seasons, hes hardly scored a goal.

I was kind of thinking he hadnt played cos he just wasnt good enough when he
came back from injury, and wasnt exactly first choice before he got injured!!
Undoubtedly a very talented lad in his day, but talent alone does not a Premiership
player make!
We'd be gambling on getting the same player back that donned the shirt five long years ago

He is very temperamental and doesnt respond to many managers but he does respond to Jones. So worth a punt i reckon so.
