I think Terry Burton could quite easily step into the role.

Burton as manager with Neil Ardley as his number 2.
If Fulham are willing to pay £800k compo I'd snap their hands off TBH.

Sven is not a good choice. His wages would be huge, and he is not exactly renowned
for bringing players in from lower divisions and getting bargains. DJ's comments about
his future the other day:
"who knows what can happen in football" etc
Wouldnt surprise me in the least if he does one, hes already hinted that Ridsdale was
doing things he had no idea about.
We've got Drinkwater, we've got Chopra and Bothroyd, Burke, Whittingham.
If Jones goes, i think we have the makings of a decent side.
My fear would be that they would just give the job to Terry Burton cos it'll be the easy
option! We need new blood, a new motivator.
Who the f**k would come here?
the more I think about Jones going, the more I dread it!!!

Rather than say that you'd want Jones to go, come up with a viable alternative who would come here and take this club on with all our off-field problems. There aren't any as far as I can see and, in my opinion, Terry Burton isn't a great choice being the archetypal number 2. And look at some of the disasters that have happened when a number 2 is appointwed to a manager's job

Exactly, look what happened when he became manager at Wimbledon(although there wasnt much investment in the team) they got relegated in his 1st year in charge.
I can't think of a viable alternative who would want to come to us, especially with our uncertain financial situation and even if we matched the wages we pay Jones now.
I really hope he doesnt go.

Mad Dog??? A reporter was interviewing him once and he kept calling Allen Mad Dog. He said to the reporter that he hated the name and, if he called him that again, he'd throw him out the nearest window!!!

I honestly think it would be a disaster for Jones to leave now. People seem to think the likes of Zola, Mowbray, Curbs would want the job
why?
We have no money, we have unhappy fans, we have a transfer embargo, heardly appealing job is it.
WIth Jones and even just with this current squad I think we could be around the play/offs.
Without him I would be hoping to stay up obviously depending who takes over from him but I cant see many wanting this job.
