The FSF is pleased to support the organisation of coaches for fans that have chosen to base themselves in Budva for the Montenegro trip...the coaches are organised by World in Motion (Leigh James) and Neil Dymock 07852305447 even if you decide to stay in Dubrovnik it may be a wise move to use this service from Budva...cost is £15 return
Tickets for the Montenegro game have to be collected from Lucy Jones FAW ticket officer she is awaiting confirmation regards to where fans can collect these tickets
We all agree that a ticket booth at the stadium is the best option – Lucy has asked the Montenegro FA to provide it and Mark Evans will check this is being done when he goes for the inspection visit soon.
Please note if the collection booth is not going to be provided fans will need to go to Lucy’s hotel....In this case the organised coaches from Budva will leave a little earlier.
The South stand will be used to house Welsh fans in Podgorica stadium...the same area that we were two years ago.
The ticket allocation is estimated as follows for Welsh fans.... Montenegro - about 1200, Switzerland - about 4400 max. Please note FAW must confirm final numbers for both matches by 24th August, so tickets will go on sale to Silver members for one week only, after Gold members have had priority.
All Tickets are non-transferable. Any changes to an application must be brought to the attention of the FAW Ticket Dept. so their records can be amended accordingly. The FAW would prefer for individuals to collect their own tickets, showing their membership card or other photo id. There have been problems in the past with members booking tickets and not even travelling, and the FAW are keen to eliminate this as much as possible. If there is a family group and one comes to collect then they don't mind so much but Lucy does not want to be in the position of having one person coming to collect 10 tickets for their friends.
Some fans who buy membership late may not have their members cards in time for the match, so they would need to bring other photo ID. If they don't bring it, they will need to confirm other personal details which they have already provided to FAW. Collection information will be confirmed to everyone no later than 10 days before the match.
Only fans who have Gold(priority) and Silver membership are allowed tickets for away matches...these memberships are now open to all fans who wish to join.
The FSF Cymru reps will be available at all Wales matches away from home and information booklets are currently being produced with the help of the Foreign office, British embassy, FAW, the police and our own reconnaissance trips...these booklets are produced FREE for all persons who buy away tickets...they are also on-line at http://www.fsf.org.uk/ in the FSF Cymru section.
If there is anything you need to know about the Montenegro or Switzerland games please contact myself Vince Alm or Neil Dymock and we will try to assist.
