got a few mates in Glasgow some Rangers and some Celtic fans, they are telling me Celtic are soon to bid for McCormack anybody our end heard anything about this?

I wouldnt mind selling him if the price was right, £3-4m.

Once(if!) the embargo is lifted, we could get 3-4 players in with that money to help us push on.

Or if it meant going back in to pay off some debts but freeing up some money for loan signings then so be it.

it's just something I have heard off a few friends up there and they would like to know if I have heard anything down here I said no I haven't as yet hence which is why I am asking if anybody our end knows if there is any truth in this.

TBH he's one player that I rate highly and would be pissed off if he went to Celtic as well.

If he plays regularly he's worth £2m-£3m. Right now though he's barely worth £1.5m. I want Ross to stay because he always gives 100% and I know he got mardy last season but considering how little he was valued it's no surprise he wanted to move on. I hope he stays but if we have to sell and Celtic offered £1.5m then I say we take it and just find new players.

I'm a big fan of Chopra, but I still don't think we needed to resign him for £3m when we had McCormack at the club.
