Players out of contract

Who is addressing this situation within our club, with loads of players with contracts of a year remaining.
Are we waiting for clubs to come in to buy them?
Think we could be in a lot of trouble if the players adopt the Ledley situation.
They know they could increase their wages if they go out of contract.
Will SOMEONE at the City please take charge.

Witts agent confirmed he has a new offer on the table so im guessing the rest of them do as well.

What if the Malaysians don't want to resign these players? I know most people will answer me by saying 'if we don't they will walk away for free in 12 months time'
But if we do resign them on better contracts than they already have, it is perfectly possible that those contracts would be worth more than the players would worth in transfer fees.
The thinking might be, let them go and replace them with players on more realistic wages because over all that makes far better business sense.
