the last time we were faced with selling all our assets ,when owned by a group who had very little interest in the club was in the mid eighties.
the late bob grogan passed away(possibly the best chairman we have had in living memory) and passed the club into jack leaonards hands, the owners could not wait to pass the club on, but first asset stripped by selling every player of any value.
they set a wage level so low for the manager ,which meant we finished in the bottom three and ended up being relegated.
17 years of dungeon lower league football followed , then came sam.
a fine dividing line is possibly being drawn up for our football club.......... the reality could see us selling a number of players........ lets hope the malaysians are on board and not considering selling any players.... otherwise we all know what could follow.... patience is a fine line for supporters.
