Not sure if he will allow us ot go down the pan but you have to realise he is only responsible for a 1/3rd of the club. So why should he be the one bailing us out, what about the other ones?

Earnie would you plow money in if PMG just sit back and watch you , without dipping thier hands in thier pockets ?
i think personally think they are taking it to the brink ,and going for a complete takeover on the cheap....
then you will see some real investment ,as they steady the ship :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

If you read the history of Vincent Tan you will find that he has a history with failing business. Indeed his flagship Berjaya Group were next to bankrupt in the mid 1980's until Tan spotted several opportunities via Government privatisations, notably the rebuilding of Malaysia's sewerage system which he had no experience in at all!

That's why I believe our destiny is linked to other oppotunities Tan has spotted in betting and retail. We might have to wait until these projects come online before we see real investment and that explains the drip, drip we are getting ATM.

I hope we aren't seen as a 'betting' opportunity Tony

Might explain the sporadic movements in the odds on Dave Jones going to Fulham ?

However I agree that they will be looking to find alternative income streams by using the CCFC 'brand' and name in Far eastern markets and working on sponsorship schemes and maybe other business partnerships to try to stead the ship - until then they will pay over as little as possible - just enough to keep the club going.

The next season is always the be-all and end-all for us fans, but I'd bet they aren't going to attempt to sort 10 years of poor management of the club in a few months.
