WE DONT NEED TO SELL PLAYERS

Sat Jul 24, 2010 11:39 am

A comment made by Gethin Jenkins.

Now is it just me or are we not struggling financially even to pay the players wages, never mind other creditors.

To me we have no option but to SELL, even just to get the wage bill down which at 14million per annum is a ridiculous amount when clubs who finished around us last season have less than half that amount and were still successful.
Look at Blackpool for instance.

We ALL want success but for now why dont we bite the bullet and sell players to lower the wage bill and still have half decent players for less than half the price.

As long as we can consolidate our position as a championship side i would be happy with that and at least we would still have a club to support.

The only other option would for Vincent Tan to inject the club with a huge amount of cash to clear the majority of our debt to enable us to keep our current squad and be able to strengthen it to, but at this time i cannot see that happening, so whats our options, the above seems the only way to me. :(

Personally, i don't think Kennedy will be the last to go before August 31, we know the usual suspects, but i think there will be a couple more aswell. We are on our knees, how long before we are flat out? :(

Any seller with half a brain does not go out of his/her way to advertise that he/she is a "forced" seller.
