So we are back to player sales, I don't think anyone on here would resent player sales the state we are in, but the club would have to be honest and say our aims for the current season is to stay up. Sell the players on the last year of their contract who won't renew in the next 2 weeks, sell Chopra, and bring in loans and freebies, we'd probably lose Dave Jones to the first job that came along, I would jump ship if was him & this was how it panned out.
It's all a bit of a mess, but 10 years of mis-management isn't cleared overnight.
As fan's there's not a lot we can do, early season ticket sals maybe an option come November, if that would help the club stagger on a few months. After all most people said if the club had been up front last December and said the season tickets sales were going to keep the club avile they still would have bought one.
I really don't know, too many games being played by too many people who have no love for the club.

Yes I believe the Malaysians thought they would be joined by the other directors in sorting out the debt.
I totally agree with you and the player sales, I said weeks ago that Chopra and Whittingham should be sold but not too many agreed with me.
Will DJ jump ship ? I think there is more to the Kennedy deal than just money tbh.
I asked Gethin Jenkins at my meeting with him on June 21st, what were the club aims for the season ? He did not give a response.

carlccfc wrote:Following on from a post that Annis put up this morning, I have heard a very similar story, I have been told that the board has asked the Chairman for a further investment of £3.5million so the club can settle it's most pressing issues as soon as possible, the tax bill, Charlton, Motherwell, Wages etc. These are the issues that I spoke of last week and said that I believed there needs to be a minimum of £2million invested this week.
From what I have been told I understand that the wages ( £500k ) will be covered by the Malaysians again this month and that will be it. So where will the rest come from ? I was hoping to hear a much better outcome to this meeting but it would seem that things appear dire and very concerning.
When the Malaysians came in, the official site released, on March 21st, a statement by TG which spoke of ' good will on all sides ' I wonder if that statement could be used again ?
Quite simply if all of the directors who run our club cannot cover the debts together and deal with the issues we face then the money has to come from somewhere else and I cannot understand why one person in the boardroom should be paying for the whole debt, so unless there is imment external investment I see no other option than player sales.
There is some slightly positive news though I am told that there are interested potential investors but they are not much more than interested spectators at this moment and are watching how the situation pans out, I dont believe that the Malaysians are trying to pull out of the club but maybe they are wanting another party to take responsibilty with them.
