Ian Holloway

Now there's a manager i really respect !! Would i have him as our manager and let D.J go to Blackpool :?: In a fecking shot.
He wants better players at his club but no big time Charlies that's for sure. If they want excessive wages then they can feck off. He has a team with belief, hunger, drive, He is one with the fans and says what the feck he likes and for some reason he doesn't upset anyone. Maybe its because he is such a character
How we could all do with the dose of the Holloway right now someone with...............................................................PASSION

Just saw him on Sky Sports News, Top man said he doesn't want foreigners who will only come to Blackpool for the money and laugh when we lose. :ayatollah:

Always liked Holloway as a person, but wouldn't want him managing my club if you know what I mean. Be interesting to see what Blackpool do with him by Christmas when they still haven't won a game. I know what you are getting at sometimes it would be nice to see Dave Jones looking like he gives a toss.

Ian Holloway is in my opinion thew best manager in britain (for the cost to the club).
He has passion, drive and ambition, having had the privilage in the past to be in his company,
his knowledge of the game and his forward thinking as regards the like of specific work on
the training ground, lactate testing etc., is something else.
Dave Jones :(
Roll on two weeks, lets get this started ! Come on the city :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

He is just a small club manager, cant handle a big job.

I'd rather DJ than him.

Just read his book - excellent read. Was a pretty good player and the background to his QPR days as manager were pretty interesting to say the least.

Had it tough at home as well as he has twin daughters who are both deaf and finding the right education was an issue when he moved around the country.

Comes across as a nice bloke - never met him so cant confirm one way or another. His record as a managher is pretty good but I guess even Brian Clough would struggle to keep Blackpool up - but lets wait and see.

yeah small club doing well, no pressure on the manager, thats how he likes it and thats how it works for him.

If he came to Cardiff he would have a melt down again like at Leicester, if he took over us NOW, I would predict us to go down.

and IMO for the record I dont think Blackpool are a bigger club than Cardiff despite the leagues.

Just like Scunthorpe wasnt a bigger club than Leeds last season despite the leagues.
