I googled "Who is Dato Chan Tien Ghee" and found a malaysian newspaper talking about him being a property tycoon. Now, if the malaysians are reporting that he is a property tycoon, considering he is malaysian, I'm going to hedge my bets and say that I believe them.

It's like British newspapers reporting that I'm a property tycoon. They wouldn't report it unless they actually did some kind of research into it.
