Anyone work in Bristol?

Tue Jul 27, 2010 1:55 pm

Just got myself a job in Bristol for a couple of months, anybody else work over the bridge?

It'll mean extra early starts, but as long as I can get back in time for the midweek games it should be fine :ayatollah:

Been travelling from Cardiff to Bristol for 18 years and have finally bought a house over there. What part of Bristol are you working? I am sniffing distance from Ashton Gate for my sins :D I I usually leave Bristol by 6.00pm and are in Cardiff in plenty of time for a midweek kick off. Long drive back to Bristol for me though this season.

Lloyds offices on Canons Way.

Think I'll be getting the train though, don't fancy paying for parking+bridge everyday!

Nice part of town that mate, The train is by the far the best way of travelling, I did it for a while until I needed my Car for work and managed to wangle the bridge fair on company expenses.

Yeah seems quite nice down there.

I can't see me being able to claim for the bridge just yet, and I don't know about parking so I think train is the way to go - should be nice and easy anyway

I work at Aztec West, Almondsbury and have been travelling from the Rhondda for three and a half years, in the last six months I have gone part-time, working three days. I drive across and start early, I'm in the office before 7.30 am and usually leave at 3.30 pm to miss the trafffic, I pay monthly for a bridge TAG to save time at the tolls, if I was based in the centre of Bristol it would have to be the train for me.
