AN EMAIL FROM TG

I emailed TG this morning and asked if we were likely to hear some POSITIVE news from the club in the near future, i also mentioned that the attendnce for Saturdays friendly seems to be poor so far and hopefully some positve news could have an added effect on the turnout, this is his reply.

Hi.
Fans should always support their club which you have all known for many years and decades!
Just imagine ourselves who have had relatively little history with the club but we came through to help the club at its tightest moments!

So please show your support by coming and cheering your club and give it your best and break out from the gloom put out there by those who have no wish to see this club go forward.
All the fans can be part of this positive news!

i think what he's trying to say deano is take no notice of all the gloom and doom merchants on messageboards and go out and enjoy supporting your club.

If you read between the lines it is positive.

First of all, he has (or someone who is paid to) taken time to answer "just another fan" (no offence Nobby) and given a pro active response.

Nothing negative at all in there and he is even mentioning their own history with the club.(which indicates he is still with us)

We know they have paid the wages this month yet again and is dealing with the tax man!

We still have billionaires on our side and lets be honest, we are a very small cog in what must be a massive wheel to them.

For the reasons give, we must still support the team. Lets all try and talk someone else into going to a game and help the club that way.

He does not mention message boards Steve, i know he is annoyed by all the media speculation surrounding the club at present but he is certainly not pointing the finger at message boards, he even gave me permission to post this email.

i know he was annoyed with the fact that news of his private meeting with sam was being plastered all over this message board and in the south wales echo within an hour of the meeting ending.
im sure annis, carl and gwyn will admit that sam rang them straight after the meeting.

The Malaysians and every one else connected to the club have been mugged off
over the last few weeks. If some of those doom and gloom merchants are in fact
fans then surely he's got a right to fire back??

Reading between the lines I think all he's saying in the E mail is... GIVE US A CHANCE!!

He's inherited a club run by liars and cheats, he's inherited supporters who dont believe
anything they're told (for obvious reasons)...

I think he's currently trying to separate the positives from the negatives at the club and
discovering that many of the negatives are in the boardroom.

We need to persuade him that we're on his side!

You've hit the nail on the head there mate The mess they have been left wil take some time to sort out but sort it they will. All they want is for the fans to be patient, I know it's difficult and it will take time but we will come out the other side much stronger.

Sam is actually gettin on well with TG and Maybe Borley and you dont like this a Fact. Are you worried about your Best Mates possition in the Club ?


Steve, your trying to stir it up, just because TG is keeping Borley out of the loop, I know Borley is your Best Friend, but as soon as Gethin Jenkins had a go at him he ran a mile,NOW THATS THE TRUTH IS IT.

My crystal ball tells me that eventually, this club will be run by Sam Hammam again (on behalf
of the Malaysians)... his enthusiasm for Football (and the wedge we owe him) will be a deciding
factor

The rest of the board will be made up of local businessmen, genuine fans who are willing to do their bit!


Currently, we are recieving a complete overhaul in the garage. our mechanics cannot agree on what goes
where and bits of the car are all over the workshop. But when the racing car that is Cardiff City eventually
takes to the track, she will be a sleek, smooth mean machine, with all the parts marked TG or VT.

.... and the competition better start checking their wing mirrors...

im not stirring anything up you went on holiday the day of the meeting and the next day in the echo there were quotes attributed to all of you in a piece by terry phillips saying how cordial the meeting was etc.
speak to carl about the pms between us because they were private and not for this board
my comments are based on a conversation with tg.
if you consider my comments as a personal attack on this board or you in person then this board has got totally out of control and context to what it was set up for

not steve borleys job eddie simple as that
gethin as was ridsdale is a paid employee of the club if he cant do the job then he should go.
everybody is saying that the malaysians with 37% of the shares should not be ploughing all the money in and do everything but you expect borley with 7% and his own business to run plus the house of sport to now negotiate players contracts.
my own personal view is that if the malaysians take full control then they should install a brand new board

steve davies did borley know what the riddler was up to ?

At the Brunswick Riddler said regarding the Leeds meltdown that he was chairman at the time and took the flack for the ENTIRE board so I see it the same here , BUT I dont think Borley knew 100% of what was going on coz how many times did Annis / Carl post here about things Borley knew nothing of ........ or is Borley a liar too ?

I agree with Steve , new takeover AND new board appointed by TG and 1st role to fill is a high profile and proven football minded CEO !

I think most of us seen it as a positive that TG was meeting with Sam, nothing that was discussed in the meeting which was private leaked out. At least we were hoping that by talking with a major creditor at least TG was getting both sides of view rather than a one sided one, I'm sure he's sharp enough to weigh up all the options when he's taken in the information.

At the end of the day if he can come to an agreement with Sam/Langstones that means that particular debt is dealt with then surely that's good news either way. If he can pay it off, then to me it shows he's got the right backing and clout neccersary, if he got to let Sam back in to stave off the Langtsone debt, the that is also fine by me.

It would appear that now the cow as been well milked there aren't to many options being given to TG those that have had their fill do not appear to be forthcoming with any financial help or ideas, the silence is deafening, so hearing that at least one meeting which could help our club as taken place is more of a positive in my eyes.

I do find it strange though that TG felt the need to keep the details of this meeting quiet and not even inform some senior figures at the club, however we must trust he had his own reasons for that.
