Midfield for Saturday

According to a poster on ccmb, McPhail might be out of action for 4-6 weeks, which would be pretty disastrous!

I'm not sure what the situation is with regards to Drinkwater, but I don't know what our midfield might look like if he's not registered to play! It doesn't sound too promising.

It might mean we try 4-3-3 again, but I don't know how that would work with Rae in centre mid with possibly Burke + Whitts

Would leave us with Darcy, Wildig and Rae.
Rae and Darcy dont offer enough creativity so it would have to be Wildig.

More than likely DJ would go with the 4-3-3 he has been testing though with

Isn't Drinkwater able to be registered now that Kennedy has left the squad??

Not an issue for Saturday as it's only a friendly, but I guess DJ will be shaping his starting midfield/team for Sheffield Utd.
If McPhail is injured we've still got Rae, Whitts, Blake, Wildig, Taiwo & Meades to play in the middle with Matthews, Rossco and Burke for the wings??
