So what happened after that was totally inevitable BUT could and should have been prevented by the OB , they were told by CCFC supporters leaders well before the Saturday to let the City fans stay inside for 30 mins or so to avoid any confrontation , but did they listen ? Plus why did the OB allow so many Chelsea fans without tickets to gather in the area all morning before and during the game plus why didnt the local Police spotters pick up the dozen or so Wolves fans that were also milling about , wtf were they doing there other than to cause trouble ?

No, they didn't stop them fighting, that's true enough. But they did let 'agitators' congregate for no other reason than to cause trouble and, when they did, they didn't do enough to prevent them from causing that trouble. And there were some know troublemakers there that the police knew were there for no good. So, what did you expect people to do when they came under attack?

you can work alongside Mr Potatoe Head and have the heads up on the known CCFC trouble makers
Seriously on the day the Police knew what was coming and in no way am I going to condone what happened , happen it did . Why didnt the Police stop the ambush in the cemetary plus the boys on the bus had to get off coz of the flat tyre , they didnt ask the Chelsea fans to attack them while they waited for it to be fixed did they ??? All the Police did was allow 1 or 2 big scraps and film it all on the video cameras . It must be like that most games at Stamford Bridge , so why dont Chelsea get bubble matches etc too ?

I do feel that when Cardiff come to town, every club has a turn out, just because its Cardiff. I think at Newcastle, it was purely Newcastle. Cardiff fans were defending themselves. Walking back to the CCSC supporters bus with families etc and Newcastle fans were throwing bricks etc at anyone.
But at Chelsea, both sets of supporters were as bad as each other.

If I do become a copper, I won't want to police Cardiff games. Or just police on the grandstand or kids end Wouldn't look good if I was policing outside the Ninian Stand with a load of people walking past going "Alright Han?"
