PARKING IN THE RETAIL PARK.......

BEWARE.i don,t know if this has been montioned on this board before,but here goes .
my mate whom i was with at the time parked in the retail park opposite the ground at the end of last season,i think it was our last evening ko.he recently reiceived a parking penalty for £100 pounds.he ignored the first two letters as they came from a london company ,and he thought,f**k um,i havn,t been to london .when he phoned the company about the matter they said they were acting on behalf of the new retail park and provided a photo of his car as they say illegaly parked.
any other persons been nicked?

its not illegal, as he has not broken a law, just broken a companys rules, just tell them to f**k off :D they can't legally do anything

i work on said retail park and there is a two hour parking rule. However the numptys that run it for pmg are absolutly clueless of time. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

There was a piece on this type of parking ticket on radio 2 a couple of months ago by the money saving expert guy (Martin Lewis I think) and if it's a private car park you are not breaking the law just there rules (as said in an earlier reply) but you shouldn't ignore the letters always reply. The thing is they are not fining the owner of the vehicle but the driver in question at the time of alleged parking offence. So all you got to do is reply in writing stating that you were not the driver of the vehicle at the time and that you are not required by law to supply the name of the driver. That's the general gist of it but if you go on his money saving expert website I'm sure you'll find more info on there.
