It was Steve Borley slagging Annis off for being negative, that's a FACT, I still have a copy of his post, other 'message boards' were bound to jump all over it. And for the abuse that Annis took, Borley came in for some vile stuff from Eddie May on here, its 6 and two 3's, any body who posts on public message boards are in the firing line. You know that from your RAMS days Gwyn and lets be honest, most of the so called sniping is just winding up with no malice meant, you do it, I do it, everyone does it and we all bite on times.

WE are in difficult economic times, irrespective of the mess that City are in financially.Most of those players are very well paid and whilst it is clearly wrong that bonuses have not been paid, there are many out there having pay cuts and freezes, if not losing their jobs.

“As from now a large majority of scheduled bonus payments have been paid and the reminder will be completed in the early part of next week. You say some players have told you they haven't been paid but what Jenkins is saying here is that most have, the rest will be paid next week. Maybe the players you spoke to are the ones being paid next week. We will have to wait and see.

“That includes players who have moved on from the club.” As this is a follow on from the "the remainder will be completed in the early part of next week" line, again, we will have to wait til next week.

Gethin Jenkins as the CEO should be telling the truth. He is the link between the boardroom and the fans and the press. The board will of course not want everything to be aired in public and we should all respect that however when the CEO makes statements they should be truthful at all times.
It's been very easy for him this season because the golden ticket scam has delivered him 18,000 season ticket holders but in my opinion if he carries on like this he will have a struggle next season.

We know things are difficult for everybody at the club because of the financial situation but honesty costs NOTHING.

None of the ex players have received their monies and No players have received their Bonus etc etc.

What is the man supposed to do. if we havent got the money then we can't pay it. I'd rather the cleaners and the office staff get paid than some poxy bonus which Chops will probably blow at the bookies.

The players should keep this behind closed doors, shut their mouths get on with it and and show some pride in the shirt instead fo dragging the club through the mud. I'm beginning to want to see them sold off.

Mixed feeling about the players talking like this. If I was in their shoes I would be cautious about my business but then again there is a stage where you have to take dramatic action. Perhaps its got to that stage. When you are owed money from an employer who is struggling to pay you then you usually mind you are last in their priorities. The longer that goes on the more frustrated one becomes and ends up resorting to such actions. They actions do usually kick the employer into doing something about it. Such is life.

Besides we all know why they are in this situation and its a bonus as far as I'm concerned that this is giving the Riddler more bad press. Lets hope this sort of story helps finish him off for good.

I'm pretty sure the deferrment of the bonuses and wages had been in the media. This has been going on for a while now and nown and again drastic measures hoave to be taken to and perhaps the players felt it was the right time to do this. Going public sometimes goes does give the lick up the arse the boss needs.
