Premier Club 'Members Only' Now

Sat Jul 31, 2010 10:56 am

Due to some members moaning and also an incident at the Swansea game, the Prmeier Club is now 'members only'.

So look forward to 1000+ empty seats there for the rest of the season.

No sign of any relaunch or reorganisation yet either.

The club could do with some ideas.

What does everyone think of using them as an incentive in a new share issue.

e.g anyone who buys £2000 of shares gets a free seat for a season (or £1000 for a discounted one).

I'd take the same line as many of our so-called investors who have little or no faith in the value of the Club's equity. Perhaps they can have their £2k in the form of a secured debenture (similar to a WRU debenture). Looking at the Club's finances, it appears that fans will soon be able to name their price for these sorts of special offers.

If equity is to be bought by fans, all fans should participate and the Trust should act as sole representative. Right now, I would recommend that the Trust confine its investment in the Club to secured loans with the possibility of conversion at a future date (and when CCFC is stabilised financially).
