Kallio or Vignal

Both played a half each today, Kallio played first half and Vignal played second. I cant see davey buying both but its clear we need a left back, based on todays performances who would you lot choose? Personally I'd have Vignal he seemed to like a tackle and get forward a bit too.

yeah i'd go for vignal a little unfit but a nice touch and liked to get forward.

The tall lad for me. We need more height particularly when defending corners as Marshall didn' appear to have spent all summer learning how to deal with crosses like he should have.

Hudson was fine again today. Blake played VERY well.

Out of the full backs I'd go for Vignal, he looked solid and passed the ball well. The other guy wasn't bad but gave their right winger a bit too much space and his distribution wasn't so good.

Vignal looks like he's got a bit of fire in him as well.

he might have done arite today and when he come on against county last week but i watched the season reviwe dvd and he cost us at least 10 points last year if not more!!

Palace possibly, but aren't you going to blame the full back and winger (Whittingham I think) for allowing the Palace guy all the time in the world to cross it. Granted Lee got the edge on Hudson and headed it onto the back of his head, but lee had only just smashed his elbow into Hudson's face. Harsh, but you have a point there.

Plymouth, what did he do wrong there ? I can't remeber their goal, I thought it was a fluke ? It had just come off the back of 3 clean sheets.

If thats all Hudson has done wrong last season then he's had a stormer. The truth is, he's no Loovens or Johnson, but nowhere near as bad as some like to make out.

Now you like Gerarrd and I haven't wtached the season DVD, but I can remember Barnsley scoring 2 simple goals from over-the -top balls because he and Gyepes positioning was awful. Also QPR outpacing him throught the middle. Don't even start on the newcastle or Preston games.

Neither of them I thought they were both poor.
