it was in the lansdown pub near the start of Sam's era. i'd heard loads about him. Mostly bad i hasten to add! none of it was true. He's a sound bloke.

well I spoke to him in passing for many years while watching the City but the first real conversation happen in a coffee shop in Albany Road. He even paid for the coffee so he's not a tight as some make him out to be!!!
