hi m8 it's a long story which i'll cut when i was a youngun back in the 70's i grew up with the great don revies mighty whites remember i was a young merthyr boy never been to cardiff till 72 back then it was either leeds/man utd/arsenal/chealsea/liverpool i chose leeds and i've been a loyal fan since then i'm now 50 btw i'm not anti city/swansea etc just a genuin footy fan who likes a bit of banter with other genuin fans thats it m8 life story over ..

Your my age Andy and I can vouch for that. Leeds had a huge following in the school then and alot of it has stayed. I was adament Cardiff but shamefully I can real of more Leeds names from that era than Cardiff. So many household names like Charlton, Bremner, Giles, Gray, Lorimer, Madeley, Reeney, Hunter, Stiles, Sprakes, Clark and Jones. Leeds have managed to keep their support because of that era and I am absolutely convinced if Cardiff manage to do a Leeds of the 70s our support will go through the roof.

Bit like the kids of today picking one of the top 4 over us or the jerks at least you have stuck by them though
