Only 15 Players for The Burton Game?

Is that true?

They want the Burton game cancelled due to international call ups but the league are saying no. We all know where we stand so stop trying to bend the rules and get some youngsters on the pitch or grow a pair and have it out with board.

I assume we are saying only 15 players due to injury and the inability to sign Drinkwaters and Heaton.

Heaten is signed and registered I think. As for the idea of the 15 players, I don't see why calling up youngsters is such a bad thing. We've apparantly got a couple of French outfield youngsters that are supposed to be quite good, and it's only a Carling Cup match.

Daf, Agree with you as well, DJ should get Our Kids involved more and stop moaning and just get on with the job, Riddler has gone now and the amount of money they both wasted was shocking.

It has been mentioned a few times now that the Heaton deal has also been hit by the embargo. He was pre-signed on the 15th June and was fully stamped on 1st July. Were we under embargo during those dates?

I wouldn't be suprised if the club tried to pull a fast one which may now have been identified by the FL when the debts to Sunderland, Motherwell and Charlton came to light.

If we owed cash when Heaton signed but it was only identified AFTER perhaps the FL can revoke his registration.

15 players should still be enough.

Pad it out with a youngster or 2 if we have to.

Last season against Dagenham Jones put 6 academy players on bench.

oh the youth of today. I remember when the 1st round of the league cup was a big deal. Was usually against a 'big' team like Plymouth or Brentford or Bristol Rovers mind.
