this means that the trialists wont be taken on then i guess as they are both full backs?
we must as a priority have an alternative target man to j, this must be the next signing..

Not that I don't believe the text but I'll wait till he's officially in our shirt before getting excited we'll probably find out we owe Madrid for a set of cones or something this week

Some good news coming through at last, seemed a million miles away last week.
Malaysians paying the wages and now Charlton debt aswell!
Thank f**k they came when they did.

Annis - have we paid Motherwell yet and for that matter what about Dagenham, I suspect we haven't paid for Taiwo yet.
Sun Aug 01, 2010 9:45 am
Dagenham, Charlton and Motherwell should be paying us for taking Taiwo, Hudson and Quinn off their hands
Good news on Naylor though

I think I'd Prefer Toni Kallio he was a decent player for Fulham and would do a tremendous Job as can play right accross the defence and upfront.
I personally think we should sign Kallio and Naylor gives us a bit of cover too then.
Drinkwater isn't registerd yet though is he Annis? But has signed for us just waiting for the embargo to be lifted before we can register him is that correct or am i wide of the mark?

Finally some good news!
Lee Naylor is a really good player, be a good signing for us.
Thanks for the Info.

Would Naylor signing take Matthews back to midfield his original midfield position, can't see Naylor being just a cover man.

On the face of it selling Kennedy for £75,000 and signing Lee Naylor as a replacement on a free, looks like a tremendous bit of business.

Exactly.
Left back was made a priority.
We now need cover for Jay and one more central midfielder, and i think we're ready to go for the season.

Great news, will do a top job if he signs as he's played under dave before and must know exactly what he wants hopefully we can get him registered in time.. May be a problem if he hasn't had a pre-season though, will probably have some catching up to do!

Yeah, CCMB posted that there are 3 medicals next week.
Hopefully Naylor, a central midfielder and a backup for Jay.

yeah he was taking the piss 4 posts and basically making it up.
Think we will sign one or two but don't think we'll sign three

Dave Jones is low on his list of players he wanted to challenge Jay.. What makes me worry is that one of his striking targets is currently a young benched Forest player who I would be quite happy with considering his not so bad goalscoring form for a team who were relegated from the championship two seasons ago. Could they use it as leverage for Whitts?
Because this would be crazy

McGoldrick?
I'd take him in a heartbeat.
