Clearing up the embargo, settling up players etc etc, I reckon the stands are going to have sponsors shortly but NOT stadium naming rights.

Actually I'm sure Carl mentioned this a couple of weeks ago as a suggestion. At the time I thought it would be a brilliant idea. I hope they keep some of the Cardiff name in it like VT Ninian Stand, TF Grandstand etc etc

Thats why i reckon it will be money for Sponsorship coming in from Sponsors, not investment. Be a good business move to raise funds. TG and that say they are putting together a plan to unwind the last 5 years, this is the sort of thing you would do to assist the unwinding without just throwing money in.
A punt would say a Malaysian Airline, something like that!

Have never been in there for a game - prefer to sit with my mates in the Ninian Stand - the same ones I have sat or stood next to for years and years.
Do you know if there actually a Michael Isaac room behind the Grandstand yet? I was told the renaming was being put in place at as part of the deal last year to reduce his loan interest down from 20% above base to the same 3% above base that S Borley was charging.

Well, thats good news as it won't just be replacing old debt with new, so better for the balance sheet, but with the amounts involved there would have to be some element of load, which hopefully would be turned into shares at the time to suit the Malaysians.

Shame.
So the money coming in is still loans which may get converted to shares in the longer term.
