What was the name of that Greek (I think) player who about 4 years ago was on our books but never played and had a similar name?

I think you mean Tony Koskella or something like that. He was Scandanavian too. Didn't get much first team action although I seem to remember him coming on as sub against Arsenal at Highbury.

As said above, Toni Koskela was Finnish but, like Ferretti, never had much of a chance (oh DJ and his lack of faith in youngsters).

The only Greek-sounding player I can remember playing for us was http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Constantinos_Charalambidis .
We had him on trial and he had some positive reviews tbf but DJ said no. He then went on to score a 30 yarder for Cyprus against Toshack's Wales a few months later

That's other than Dimi Konstantopoulos of course, but I guess everyone remembers him!
