Stronger squad than last season?

I feel better than this time last year, we have in theory only lost ledley , who in my opinion wasn't that good and over rated, if we do get the other potential 4 signings that have been mooted to be joining us - who knows what the season holds for us

I have to agree, if we can get a few of these supposed signing I will be very happy!!

ledley,kennedy,feeney,magennis,capaldi,enkelman all gone + chops and whitts probly go soon we replaced them with 1gk and 2outfield players so far thats 3 in 6 out to me i feel worse its more of a dire squad than last year so any injurys eg/mcphail already out anymore we are really fucked i just hope we get ppl in in the nxt 24hrs or i can only see a mid-table finish with no numbers once again

definitely stronger. our squad still lacks depth, but with those new signings I'm pretty sure we will be automatic promotion contenders.

COME IN: Drinkwater, Heaton, Koumas, Meades,we have other replacements in Jarvis, Wildig, Rae. And we could acquire Olofinjana and Naylor, with a possibilty of Keogh!

To me that is better than last year.

I feel positive about this. Feeney capaldi magennis enkleman didn't really feature last year.

Kennedy was always going to be replaced and, in fairness, we only had Ledley for a couple of months.

So I see it as a "Very Positive" set of signings with more possibly on the way.

Don't forget we still also have the £5m rated Matthews who didn't really feature last year. So that in itself could be considered as an "extra player"

What we have this season IMO is a far stronger midfield. Just hope we don't loose anyone or to long term injury.

We seem to have a very good mix of experience and youth, personally I think DJ is going shit or bust this season.

the only significant outgoings are kennedy and ledley. if you told me we'd lose them with koumas and naylor(probably) as replacements then i'd have bitten your hand off. the squad is still thin but we got to the play off final with a thin squad last year and the transfer window aint closed yet.

really positive about the new season, amazing how one signing changes your opinion on things. even the talk of new signings is getting me upbeat
