Our Clubs Marketing/Merchandising is a Joke

On my way back from Scotland me and the family stayed overnight in Carlisle. We drove past Brunton Park and Tommy wanted to go and have a look. We drove into the car park and had a walk around. Its not the best of grounds. 1 big new stand and the other 3 stands were very lower league.

However all the stands had sponsors-the main stand actually had 3 sponsors for the different sections. 6 different sponsorships must bring in a few quid even if it is 5k per sponsorship. I know 30k would do very little to ease our problems but it would help pay a few bills. I'm sure that there are 4 companies in S Wales who would pay at least 25k to sponsor a stand if they were approched in the right way.

Also looked at the club shop which was of similar size to ours. It was fully stocked with kits, balls, flags, scarfs, clothes etc..

If Carlisle can get it right off the pitch why cant we? AGHHHHHHHH

i went down to the shop a few weeks ago, i was in there all of 2 mins. nothing at all there.

I agree. No chance to get any merchandise outside the Isles
