seen a post from a facebook group saying that TG and the Players have had a meeting to clear the air , anyone know much about this ?

The running of this club under TG/VT is absolutely spot on.
There has been a culture over the past 10 years of spending every penny as soon as it's available, or in Ridsdale's case beforehand by taking out high interest loans against future income.
The Malaysians are trying to reverse that and realise that if they put say £20m in our bank account now, it would probably all be gone by the end of August with nothing to show for it and we would again have to put out the begging bowl.
Instead they are providing the funds as and when they are needed and not a moment before. This has instilled a new prudent way of doing things and long may it continue, even if it does become a little frustrating at times.

I also agree with their policy of incoming transfer money , say for example Forest bid £1.5 mil for Whitts then why not demand all the money upfront in 1 lump sum cash payment ? Makes sense to me if u cant afford then u dont buy , simples !
