F.A.O. David Robert Jones

Listen mister! If nearly 18,000 season ticket holders can see that Hudson is proper wank at football, (and we have a better view of the pitch than you!) Why can't you see it? Mistake after mistake, nervous, unclear, poor distribution, quiet, unagressive, static, and last but no means least total shite!

And this is a man you have put as a LEADER of the team? shocking........

For f**k sake get Gerrard in and captain as soon as possible - because he's the closest we have to a captain and a leader on the pitch!

Who is David Robert Jones???
If your trying to make a point to someone at least get the name right.
David Ronald Jones. Not Robert

and I thought Hudson was better than gyepes yesterday who was clearly at fault for the goal. But respect your opinion as we are all entitled to them.

I'm certainly no Hudson fan (I would send him back to Charlton along with the money we owe them and cut our losses !), but yesterday Gypes was much more worrying. Perhaps Gabor's knees are finally giving up on him but he doesn't seem able to turn (fast or slow) and was even struggling in the air at times.

Hudson is an easy target because of his form over most of last season (the 6 weeks before his injury aside) just wasn't good enough but we have to be careful not to criticise him just for being him

I would have Blake and Gerrard as CBs with Hudson and Quinn as back-up. We're OK at full-back if Naylor signs and Matthews stays and Quinn played very well at CB against Leicester when needed.

Anyway, with players like Whitts, Burke, Koumas, Chops, Bothroyd + new signings, perhaps we should just concentrate on winning 5-4 every week   :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Can't agree with your opinion though, as IMO, although Gyepes gave away an unnecessary free kick in the second half, he was very assured on the ground and in the air throughout the match!

He isn't quick as we all know, but neither is Hudson, whose passing was poor and who made too many mistakes!

Gyepes found himself in a one on one position against Evans yesterday and although he got a tackle in, the ball broke free. This situation occurred with many if not all of our players at sometime during the game, but unfortunately on this occasion, the tackle was in a very dangerous position and it broke fortuously for Evans, who would have had a clear run on goal, if Gyepes hadn't sneakily got his foot entangled in Evans's feet!

As it was, the referee didn't appear to be giving a penalty, as he didn't blow his whistle and when the ball broke free, Hudson slid in and passed the ball to Britton, who put in Evans again!

Hudson had the chance to hoof the ball upfield and failed miserably!
