The RAF

Tue Aug 10, 2010 8:30 am

On the radio yesterday they are on about making cut backs in the British ecconemy and scraping the RAF. I can think of much better ways to make cut backs than that...... For a start stop awarding the lazy bastards who wont work, In Merthyr we got so many Polish and Pork and Cheese working here at the Meat factory because a lot of the Locals wont work there. We if they cut the benifits im sure they will work there then. So what's you're veiws on this then?

Stop funding single teen mothers with free houses and benefits. If they get pregnant, they should stay with mam and dad and not be provided with free homes and benefits,
We should have enough money then to keep the RAF, and money left over to fight the koreans, iraq, iran, afghans and the Jacks. :ayatollah: :D :D :ayatollah:

Liam Fox has said that they won't consider getting rid of the RAF. I don't think there would be any support amongst the Tories to do that. We are going to get seriously hit manning wise but won't get shut down. Apparently the Tornado is going to be grounded though which is a bit of a shock. Not going to be many aircraft left. Apparently 200 or so. Lowest levels since World War 1 which makes us a bit of a joke really.

its only the red arrows being disbanded as its £8.5 million that could be spent on providing body armour for the troops on the ground
