He is going to pay Bellamys wages but will want £15 million in return if we go up.

And if we don't he's happy to lose the £2million it would cost him?

£15million is too much of a return. We will need that money to pay off debts and stay up without taking another £15million from the golden pot. Double his money at most, no more.

Depends on how the £15m is made up. If the £15m includes everything (the Langston debt/naming rights/promotion bonus) then paying Sam the WHOLE amount in one go next year when we get promoted would make fantastic business sense.

that sounds right. i wouldn't be surprised if it's sam, that's his chance to get on board.

That sounds better. But the 10mill becomes 24 mill in December so doubt it's a goer.

Of course we don't know if the businessman is Sam Hammam, but it does sound like one of his schemes. The £10m turning into £24m is a very complex matter and would involve going back to court at the very least.

If it is Sam then I can see both his and TG's finger prints all over what looks like a great deal for everyone. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Wayne

People seem to be getting a bit muddled about this £10m v £24m point.

The debt due to Langston shown in the 2009 accounts is in fact about £26m (£15m plus interest on the main debt plus a further £9m related to naming rights) not £10m.

So , if the debt is not settled at £10m before the end of the year , there won`t be a further liability to allow for. What it will be is a missed opportunity ro substantially reduce a liability which is already in the books at the full amount.
