From tonights game.

Few injury scares, Bothroyd, Matthews biggest loss.

Gavin Rae was appaling yet again.

New signing Martin John, personally i hope he never plays for us again, words cant explain how shit he was. Although he did injure himself after all 3 subs were used which didnt help.

6080 crowd, scoreline flattered us in the end.

Nice to see Ross scoring 2 on his final game for us.

Dont understand how you are so harsh on John. It was his first game ffs.

The poor bugger looked in some pain at the end of the game, but he did give all he had.
My biggest worry is the possibility of losing Ross, he could start out wide and have whitts playing in the middle each game and leave Rae out, until koumas and seye are fit?

He wasn't good, but to say that you hope he never plays for us again after seeing him play one game is extreme IMO. And besides, the whole defence was poor so perhaps he wasn't too confident with the other defenders next to him.

poor kid after that tackle in the box he was hurt from there on in he had cramp and had pulled his hamstring and jones was still screaming at him,
what potential did he show for jones to say yes anyway

that said tho he had trouble moving in the second half of extra time

John started ok for 10 mins, he didnt really have much to do then, dont forget it was Burton Albion we were playing not West Brom Albion, against some quality wingers he will be teared apart, simply not good enough for this level.

Both Kallio and Vignal were much better than John when they played against Deportivo.
