Don't get me wrong its great to take the piss out of the English for losing against Germany, but do we have to sing and chant Germany over and over during a game?

I find it all a bit childish really. Saw Germany flags on sale outside the ground and just thought "why?"

They can keep them outside the ground but the worst thing is, people are stupid enough too buy them

I'd much prefer people getting behind the team than slagging off the other teams fans.
Also some of the characters up the back made me laugh today chanting away amongst themselves 'barry boys we are here drink your women and shag your beer'

Neither - English

Personally it dont bother me about the chanting but dont agree with it (What would you do if we had a player that played forn England as opposed to English players - Just a thought )

Don't bother me one bit,I think it adds to the atmosphere .if people want to bring in german, union jack flags not a problem. Life is too short ,why do you think the jacks bring all their flags with them ,cos it winds most Cardiff up  Some Barry boys I know would drink your woman & shag your beer :ayatollah:

The Jacks bring there flags because they are Tossers end off. They dont bring them to WIND US UP they take them wherever they go. And the Germany thing its called BANTER. Just in the same way all my work mates still go on about Blackpool. Every English team sings anti Welsh songs etc so why shouldn't we join in with the banter. This is football and football = banter. It involves taking the piss out of the other team ,taking the piss out of each others National team. At work its constant about Wales never qualifying, We dont ever qualify so we are bound to get stick from it. Get used to it.

Oh yes. The English are very quick to have a go when we are in town. They are not afraid to have a go when they are at the CCS. Ok guys, next time you go to a game lets see which set of supporters starts first shall we. I think you will find they are quite keen to have a go.

Its only banter. From KO to FT it kicks in but after that we all should just be laughing at each other because at the end of the day it should not matter.

And me. I love the German people and the country, but I also spent 20 odd years living in England where I earned a good living and have a lot of very good friends. I will never support England, but sometimes I do begruidge them a win and was happy that Germany won. But I'm not waving any other flag than a Welsh one

I am Welsh and live in England. I have also lived in Germany and enjoy all three countries.
I think you will find that the vast majority of intelligent people do not harbour prejudices against others simply because they support a different football team.

e all like to see our team beat the team of our biggest rivals, but to hold a grudge against a country because of football is absurd.
