Roberto Mancini confirms Bellamys exit

Fri Aug 13, 2010 9:54 am

He said its Craigs fault he wont be in 25 man squad, so Fulham must be favourite so far. Spurs, Celtic and a slight remote us.

Mancini is doing this now so he can get money for Craig, otherwise if he announced the squad at the end of August it would be too late.

What will Bellamy do now, is the question ?

If they want money, he won't be coming here.

I want City to show interest, and to make it public to TRY and make it happen (loan, maybe?!?).

all depends who can afford him and who cant and if u believe all this " I want to take my kids to school every morning " then he ends end up in Glasgow ? Sunderland have said they'd like him but cant afford the fee or the wages , so over to u Craig !

I think everyone here knows that it is unlikely to happen as there is too much money involved.

But it is Bellamy we are talking about and anything is possible with him

Fulham look to have solved their striker problem by nicking a feller from
under Birminghams noses according to the media!

In some ways the news that Mancini has said he will definitely not figure in the 25 man squad makes our case stronger.

It means that Bellamy now knows where he stands and is looking for a new club. Man City dont need the money and are unlikley to sell him to their rivals in Spurs and Fulham.

I dont think Bellamy would want to go back to Celtic.

By knowing NOW that he needs a new club gives us more time to try and conclude a deal rather than finding out in 2 weeks time and trying to do something in a rush.

Dont forget Man City were prepared to loan him to us when it was first muted in May, but we couldnt find the share of his wages they wanted. Now they have decided they dont want him they may be prepared to take a smaller share, similarly Bellers now knows that he isnt wanted so may be prepared to enter into an agreement on lower wages.

if he's to drop down a league then it's only fair he reduces his salary !

Im sure he already quoted a few weeks back that he would be prepared to take a cut as he dont need that massive wage anymore, £40,000 pw drop......?

I was with someone at the agme the other night who knows Craig and he said that Bellers had told him that he will definitely play atleast one season for us before he finishes, and that if he did come it isn't about money as he doesnt need it.

Didnt he say in that interview with Real radio the other day that the thought ofm leading us to the Prem would be worth 100 Wales caps? And we know how much playing for Wales means to him.

It could well backfire then, Bellamy should tell them to feck and and that they have 2 choices only, loan him out and get some of the wages paid, or he will feck about and see his contract out.

Spurs are my fear, if them come in he could be tempted !!!

You do realise Hartson approached the Jacks during his last season with WBA; Jacks turned him down...
