As a player I have the upmost respect for Bellamy but sometimes he don't half come out with some shit. If he wants to play for Cardiff City FC he can, no one is stopping him. That's all he's got to do is give DJ a ring and say I'll be in training on Monday.
He will though have to adjust his price to match what a club like Cardiff can safely afford. If he still wants to earn Premier wages then he can't play for Cardiff, it's as simple as that.
So the choice for him is dead simple - Premier wages or Cardiff City FC. He can't have both.
If he wants to chase the top wages then fair enough, good luck to him, but don't try giving all the bullshit about wanting to play for Cardiff.
If he was serious about giving football up altogether then surely his life would be better playing for Cardiff for a few grand a week than sitting on his arse getting bored shitless. Yes the money is less but he'd see his kids growing up and taking them to school etc, which to be fair is worth a lot more than money.
Oh and on a finishing note, you'd have to pay me Messi's wages to go to play and live in f*cking Celtic!

Think that interview was a 'come and get me plea' if I've ever heard one, talking about retirement and stuff was just to show how much he wants out. My bet is Fulham and I can see it being his last club if Mark Hughes gets a good stint there.

That makes no sense at all!! for one, Man City want rid, so no need to engineer anything, two, why would he want to mention a Championship side to attract a Premiership club? three.....ummm I don't actually have a three.....but I'm right. FACT.
