" park" = loan mate with majority of wages paid by Mancs, Fulham wont be able to afford, Spurs be denied.

Let's hope so Steve. :ayatollah:

Its in Bellamys hands, he can reject every other club but Cardiff, Cardiff could then be cheeky and offer to pay 20k.
What would Man City want to do? pay 90k to him while he rots, or pay 70k while he plays elswhere except to another premier league team.

Play in the same league so obviously yes.

Celtic or Fulham - Celtic because he's already played there and enjoyed it and will get games ahead of the Wales internationals, or Fulham because of Mark Hughes who's already signed him twice and won't be seen as rivals to Man City.

:(

I heard Craig Bellamy had some kind of contact with Dave Jones yesterday, could have been about anything, but who knows hey?

Hardly going to make his kids birthdays, and taking/picking them up from school from up there is he? Oh, and spending time with his wife as well.

Man City do see Fulham as rivals after their succesful season last year, and also now that Mark Hughes is in charge there.

IF the wages situation can be sorted soon, I see Cardiff as favourites to sign him. However, Bellamy is VERY well off, and CAN afford to take some kind of a hit regarding money (what ever can be arranged) whether or not HE accepts to do so is another matter.

Although impossible! how would a couple of grand make a difference to Bellamy? he's on £90k a week!

A way to pay Craig Bellamy would be to hand over 75% merchandise of his name to him at City

Having visited the not so super store on wednesday 75% of the merchandise would equal about £3.95! It's a f*cking joke. I wanted a baby grow/CCFC baby stuff-nothing at all.

Is this some sort of fetish you have......

Seriously tho, if the marketing people had any nonce about them. The deal could be done that way, where-as Bellers would be entitled to say 75% of merchandising right in regards to his name. That and a £20,000 wage pw should keep him happy

I'd just pay him the £20k a week and if we get promoted give him a £1m bonus to make up the rest of his wages. Then put him on a £45k p/week contract in the prem on a 2yr deal, hopefully he can then spend the rest of his career in Cardiff coaching in the academy?

I'd love to see this happen Steve, and this rumour certainly has some mileage. The longer it goes on the more I think it's a possibility. It seems that while all parties would be happy with Bellamy coming to Cardiff, the only sticking point would be financing the move. Man City don't seem desperate for cash however, and Merlin's and Wilts' suggestions above indicate how Cardiff could accomodate part of his wages. You can never preclude the improbable in football, particularly at Cardiff, so let's see what happens...
